Easter Offering

What time are the services? 
Easter begins with the Sunrise service at 6:45 am at Arden Forest.

Our other services start every 30 minutes, with four different types of worship:

  • Sanctuary, traditional worship: 8:00, 9:00, 10:00 & 11:00 am. 
  • Cox Chapel, worship with Communion: 9:00, 10:00 & 11:00 am.   
  • Cornerstone, contemporary worship in Wesley Hall: 9:30, 10:30 & 11:30 am.  
  • Munger Place Church, contemporary worship at 5200 Bryan Street: 9:30 & 11:00 am.

How do I get to the church?  Maps / Parking
From the north, take 75 south to SMU Blvd. Turn right on SMU Blvd. Parking is available in the Moody Garage on your left. You may also turn left on Airline Road and right on Binkley, and park in the Binkley garage on the left. A shuttle will pick you up and take you to the church.

From the south, take 75 north to Mockingbird Lane. Turn left on Mockingbird and an immediate right on Dublin. Follow the signs to the Moody or Binkley garages where a shuttle will pick you up.

Once you are on campus, signs will direct you to your worship venues

How much time do I need to park/get to venue? 
Shuttle service runs from 7:30 am - 12:30 pm. Please allow 30 minutes to find parking, catch the shuttle and find your venue.
Shuttles from the Moody Parking Structure will take passengers to and from the Sanctuary and Cox Chapel.
Shuttles from the Binkley Parking Structure will take passengers to and from the Wesley.

What about handicap accessible parking? 
The lot directly north of the church will be completely reserved for cars with handicapped tags. This lot will be accessible from Hillcrest.

I have kids: Where is the children’s worship?
Children ages 4 and older are encouraged to spend this special time in worship with their family as regular Sunday School classes will not be held. Services are approximately 40 minutes in length…perfect for all of God's children!

What about for younger kids/infants? 
Childcare will be available for children ages 3 and under during all Easter worship services. Please make your reservation at hpumc.org/easterchildcare.

Can we bring our kids into worship? 
We strongly encourage children ages 4 and older to attend worship with their family. Ask your usher or greeter for special Easter children's packets.

Is there a nursing/cry room?
Yes, there is a nursing room within the women's rest room near room 256. Volunteers can direct you.

Will there be Sunday School? 
No Sunday School classes will be held on Easter Sunday.

Are there special hours for HPUMC during Easter Week? 
Yes, HPUMC, Biggers and CDP will be closed on Monday, April 9.

Where does my Easter Sunday offering go at HPUMC? 
Your contributions made specifically to the Easter Offering directly help the Dallas-area non-profits chosen each year by the Community Ministries Work Area.
