An Inspiring Study of 1st Corinthians, Chapters 1-8

Competitiveness, self-sufficiency, and pursuit of freedom were prevalent in the Corinthian culture. However, the Apostle Paul advocates that a relationship with Christ creates a new identity that is counter-cultural. This study group will discover new facets in the ministry of Paul, the church itself and perhaps, their own lives in the process.

Advent Series: What Does the Bible Really Say About Christmas

Our cultural Christmas does not really exist.  We tend to blend the two Christmas stories in the New Testament in such a way that the result is neither biblical nor accurate. This three part series will examine the Christmas stories – both of them.  In addition we will explore the story of Mary, the mother of Jesus, and how that story developed from the New Testament into later Christian tradition.
