Baptism - General Information

• No pictures or videos are allowed during the service, but pictures may be taken after the service.
• The family and extended family are expected to stay for the service. If necessary, you may take your child to the nursery and older children to their Sunday School class. Room 202 will remain open so that you may leave your diaper bag and infant seat. Do not leave a purse or camera unattended.
• The father wears a name tag with the first and middle name of your child so that the minister can see the name as well as hear it from you when asked.
• You will receive a baptism certificate during the next month, so please check it for accuracy when it arrives. If there is an inadvertent error, please contact Mary Bishop. This is a legal document and should be placed in a safe place.
• The Tower publishes the names about three weeks after the baptism. The Tower comes by email to the email address on file with the church and can be printed for your baby book.
• To announce the birth of your child please fill out this form. Details of our New Mother's Group are included on the form.
