Dallas Bethlehem Center - FULL 
  Saturday, April 2 -- 9am - 12:30pm
Dallas Bethlehem Center needs two classrooms (the infant and toddler rooms) repainted and many of their toys and supplies cleaned and organized.
Ages: 15+
A $5/person donation is requested to help pay for the cost of paint and supplies. 

Methodist Children's Home
  Saturday, April 2 -- 10am-11am

Volunteers will make cards and write letters of welcome to the children and house parents of the first home at the Methodist Children's Home in San Jose, Costa Rica.
KID FRIENDLY - all ages welcome! 

Children's Ministry (project reserved for members of the First Light Sunday school class)
  Saturday, April 2 -- 10am-12pm
Members of the First Light Sunday school class will be assisting HPUMC's Children's Ministry by preparing the children's Sunday school rooms for their upcoming renovations.  

Open Door Preschool 
  Saturday, April 2 -- 10am-2pm
 
This is a great opportunity for the whole family to help freshen up the playground. We will be adding mulch and cleaning up the playground to help the school meet a condition to re-qualify for its major accreditation.
 KID FRIENDLY - all ages welcome!
Supplies needed: gardening or work gloves

Exodus Ministries (project reserved for Munger Place members)
 Saturday, April 2 - 9am - 4pm
Volunteers will be putting a fresh coat of paint on two of the apartments at this residential facility for women and their children.
Ages: 12+ (children must be accompanied by a parent) 

Blood Drive and Bone Marrow Registry Drive
 Sunday, April 3 -- 8:30am - 2:30pm
This Blood Drive and Bone Marrow Registry Drive, taking place in the Biggers Building, is in honor of Ann Hinckley Anderson, a precious three-year-old struggling with aplastic anemia, but doing great thanks to the love and support of this congregation. Donating blood is a wonderful way to serve this congregation and the community. Please take 45 minutes before or after your regular Sunday morning activities and give. 

Snack Bags for the SoupMobile (project reserved for the Promises Sunday school class)
  Sunday, April 3 -- 11:00am-12:00pm
The Promises Sunday school class will be putting together snack bags for the homeless men, women and children served by the SoupMobile. The SoupMobile is a mobile soup kitchen serving meals to the homeless in the Fair Park area. 

Hygiene Bags for the SoupMobile (project reserved for the Building Blocks Sunday school class)
 Sunday, April 3 -- 12:00pm-1:00pm
The Building Blocks Sunday school class will be putting together hygiene bags for the homeless men, women and children served by the SoupMobile. The SoupMobile is a mobile sup kitchen serving meals to the homeless in the Fair Park area. 

Methodism's Breadbasket 
 Sunday, April 3 -- 1:30pm-4pm

This East Dallas food pantry needs help re-flooring their food pantry. Because of the heavy traffic through the pantry, the old ply-wood will be removed and new ply-wood nailed down. This project requires some basic carpentry (measuring, skillsaw, hammering).
Ages: 16+ (under 18 must be accompanied by a parent)
Supplies needed: work gloves, hammer, measuring tape

Serve hundreds of the Dallas area's homeless men and women at The Bridge, the city of Dallas' homeless assistance center. It's an early morning but well worth it when you receive the smiles and thanks of those most in need in our community. 
Ages: 18+

Prayer Blanket Ministry
  Tuesday, April 5 -- 1pm-4pm

Whether you knit or crochet or are just good with a pair of scissors, come make prayer blankets for children in need of comfort.
All ages welcome.
Supplies needed: bring your own yarn or flannel 

Infant Care Kits for Community Partners of Dallas (project reserved for Side by Side Sunday school class)
  Wednesday, April 6
The Side by Side Sunday school class will be sorting and repackaging baby wipes for Community Partners of Dallas. When an infant is removed from his or her home by Child Protective Services, Community Partners of Dallas makes sure that case-worker and the child's temporary home has everything they need to care for that child. 

Community Partners of Dallas
 Wednesday, April 6 -- 6pm-8pm

Community Partners of Dallas serves our area's Child Protective Services caseworkers. They need help with clothing inventory as well as school supply inventory. Volunteers will also be counting and re-packaging baby wipes for the infant care packages.
This project is KID FRIENDLY. All ages welcome. 

NightOWLS / Loving Lambs - FULL
  Thursday, April 7 -- 1pm-4pm

The NightOWLS and Loving Lambs classroom needs cleaning and reorganization. This classroom is used for both of HPUMC's programs that provide a warm, fun church environment for children with special needs. 

Interfaith Housing Coalition
  Thursday, April 7 -- 4:30pm-6:30pm

IHC's facililty is in need of some gardening, landscaping, weeding, etc. They provide apartments for families on the brink of homelessness and try to make those apartments a beautiful place to live for the parents and children in need.
Ages: 12+ (under 18 must be accompanied by a parent)
Supplies needed: work gloves/gardening gloves 

Agape Clinic - FULL
   Saturday, April 9 -- 9am-11:30am

Help the clinic with data entry, record filing and filling prescriptions. The clinic will be open and seeing patients so this is a great opportunity to interact with the clients, welcome them and see one of the busiest non-profit medical clinics in action.
Ages: 16+
