 We Need Your Vases!
The We Care Ministry delivers birthday flowers to many of our older members who cannot make it to church on a regular basis. The ministry needs your old vases! The best vases are about 10-12 inches tall, not too heavy, with a wide mouth (NO bud vases).
Please bring them to Mary Moon in Pastoral Care on the third floor, or call her at 214.523.2245.
 Trained laypersons maintain frequent contact through visits, telephone calls and gift deliveries with members who are no longer able to participate fully in the church's life. To volunteer, call Mary Moon at 214.523.2245 or moonm@hpumc.org
Birthday Bouquets
The altar flowers placed in the church for the Sunday worship services are divided into arrangements and delivered to the honorees, as requested by pastoral care. Gift Deliveries
Gifts for Christmas and Easter are delivered to our members with special circumstances each year. Church members volunteer to deliver these gifts to homes, hospitals and nursing facilities. In 2009, over 429 gifts were delivered for the Christmas season. In 2010, volunteers delivered 411 Easter gifts.
