Children's Ministry FAQ
Where do we go if we are visitors?
The Children's Ministry Information Center is located on the first floor between Room 129 and135 in the children's wing of the Wallace Building. The church Welcome Center is located in the main hallway of the Wallace Building directly across from Wesley Hall.
What about Sunday School?
Sunday school for children ages 2 years old-5th grade takes place from 9:30-10:30 am and from 11:00 am-12:00 pm. We have about 18-25 students per room with 3 to 6 teachers who commit to teach from August-August. We have Age Level Coordinators for each age level to help with communication and organization. Lessons are biblically based with fun and inspiring music, skits, games and puppet shows.
What about the Nursery?
The Nursery receives children from ages birth-5th grade from 8:30 am-9:30 am. It receives children from ages birth-2 years old from 8:30am-12:00 pm. No reservations are necessary, but you will be asked to fill out an enrollment form on your first Sunday using the Nursery. The Nursery is staffed by paid caregivers and supported by the Nursery/KidCare Coordinator on staff at the church as well as a group of wonderful volunteers.
How do we enroll our children in Sunday School?
You can either register at the Information Center on Sunday Morning, or you can click here to register online. Once your child is enrolled in a Sunday School class, you can go to any of the kiosks available on the first floor as well as in the elementary space on the 2nd floor to print your child's nametag.
Is there Sunday School at 11:00 am for children?
Yes! The 11:00 Sunday School hour for our preschool aged children offers a different curriculum than the 9:30 hour. For our elementary students, the curriculum is the same for both 9:30a and 11a Sunday School hours.
Which worship service is best for children?
There are children's worship packets in the Sanctuary and Cornerstone services. Cornerstone offers a children's message on the 1st Sunday of each month.
