Elaine Pagels - Wednesday, March 21 “Revelations”
Insightful and controversial, Princeton professor and religious historian Elaine Pagels often explores sexuality and concepts of evil in Scripture, the theological battles of the early church, and issues surrounding claims to ultimate truth. If her new book Revelations: Visions, Prophecy and Politics in the Book of Revelation generates as much heat and discussion as have her prior works such as The Gnostic Gospels, The Origin of Satan, and Adam Eve and the Serpent we are in for a treat.
