Mission
To provide high quality, effective, and efficient health services, health-related social services, health support services, and hospice services in the least restrictive environment possible (primarily the home) and to promote for individuals and families: health, dignity, mobility, and independence regardless of ability to pay, to the extent of the agency’s resources.

Volunteer Opportunities
HPUMC assists the Visiting Nurse Association by volunteering through Meals on Wheels which provides for the delivery of hot lunches to the homebound elderly. 4,000 meals are prepared daily by the Meals on Wheels kitchen and transported to drop off sites for volunteers to deliver. HPUMC volunteers work in pairs to deliver meals.  Each team delivers once a month.  Delivery days are Monday through Friday, and deliveries are made between 9:30 and 11:30 am. Volunteers needed to pick up and deliver meals – 1.5 hrs/month
