Our goal is to connect and empower young adults to the congregation and mission of HPUMC: to make deeply devoted followers of Jesus Christ.
We invite you to join us in one of our many worshipping communities for service and to learn how to get connected.
Tuesday Nights, 6:30 pm, in the HPUMC Basement
As young adults, it is often difficult to find your place... in a career, in a city, often even in a church. At Highland Park UMC, The Place is your place. The Place is a casual, young adult, a mid-week gathering intended to build community through conversation, Bible study, and prayer. All are welcome!
Tuesday, June 4 from 6:30-8:00 pm | Tolleson Family Activity Center
Don't you miss having summers off? Even if you do still have summers off, it's not quite the same as it used to be. What better way to combat the realities of adulting than with other young adults experiencing the same reality. We'll eat dinner, we'll play pickleball and various other games (ping pong, shuffleboard, arcade games, etc), and most importantly we'll have an opportunity to meet other young adults from the Dallas area. If you haven't had a chance to explore the Tolleson Family Activity Center, this is your night!
Cost is $10. Register here.
Living Room Conversations
Monday, June 10 from 6:30-8:00 pm | Great Hall
"The world is deeply divided." This has been common rhetoric, but it doesn't have to be a reality. Living Room Conversations provides a courageous space to share our experiences and learn from the experiences of others. It is through knowing and being fully known that we will build community and bridge this divide.
Join us to share a meal and a conversation. Boxed dinner is $10. Register here.
