Each year the Executive Leadership of HPUMC, with the approval of the Finance Committee and the Church Council, allocates funds from the special offerings (Easter, Christmas, and Communion) and operating budget to be distributed by the Outreach Committee. The committee makes the funding decisions after reviewing applications, conducting site-visits from both existing and potential partners, and after lengthy discussions at a weekend meeting in March.
