Follow along as Rev. Paul Rasmussen joins a medical team from HPUMC at the Siloe Clinic in Petit Goave, Haiti. Over the next two weeks, we will have 35 Americans, 13 Haitian translators, five Haitian doctors, and eight other Haitian medical team members working together. This team will do eye exams, fit glasses, treat eye disease and do eye surgery.
While our Haitian partners provide medical care year round, during the trips a high volume of patients are treated. During trips, the doctors learn from each other and work on ways to serve as many people as possible in the name of Jesus. Sight is a great gift! The partnership of the Methodist Church of Haiti and HPUMC is over 40 years old. This partnership has impacted tens of thousands of people! As we expand this partnership to include more medical specialties as well as a pharmacy, lab and mobile clinic, Rev. Rasmussen will be making his first trip to see this ministry. We hope you will join him!
