Sunday Morning Classes
It’s no secret that being a member of a Sunday Morning Class or Small Group is what makes Highland Park United Methodist Church the “Smallest Big Church” around. These smaller communities are what we call GroupLife; they encourage us to grow as disciples as we study, serve, and build community.
Our Sunday Morning Classes span every age and life-stage and meet at either 9:30 or 11:00 AM. To begin, click on the type of class for which you are looking.
One Big Service Project
Sunday, June 4 | 9:30 - 11:00 | Great Hall
One Big Service Project is a time for all adult Sunday Morning Classes and those looking for a class community to work together on one massive outreach effort. We are changing it up this session and adding an interactive, thought-provoking awareness component to our time of service. Poverty is a reality for many individuals and families. But unless you've experienced poverty, it's difficult to truly understand. In partnership with CitySquare, we are facilitating the chance to step in the shoes of someone else - someone you've never even met - without even leaving your seat. Join us for this impactful event. All classes are encouraged to participate but space is limited. Register today for CitySquare’s poverty simulation.
Mark your calendars for the next Small Group Launch on Tuesday, September 19, 7-8pm. The launch is a great way to discover the power of community and meet others looking to join new groups.
Not sure which class to try? Stop by one of the Welcome Centers on Sunday morning or contact Jenny Misslin, GroupLife Coordinator, for guidance. Classes welcome new visitors every week!
