The Global Outreach Committee of HPUMC consists of 12-15 members of the congregation who are committed to the church's outreach efforts around the globe. The commitee's responsibilities include deciding which global outreach efforts to support financially, as well as raising awareness of those efforts throughout the church. The application process for each global outreach effort is taken very seriously and includes a written application as well as a presentation to be reviewed by the committee members. Each global mission supported by the church was carefully and considerately chosen by committee members who consider the stewardship of church funds and helping those in need their top priorities.
