Wesley Oliver is a Professor of Law at Duquesne University. He brings us his new book, The Prohibition Era and Policing, recently published by Vanderbilt University Press. Not only a great history of the Prohibition era, his book also traces the effects that the era has even today on concepts of search and seizure, confessions and eye-witness accounts.
Books will be available for purchase after the presentation.
The event begins at 7:00 pm in Wesley Hall. No reservations required. This event is free!
