Elizabeth will be heading up these projects for the next two years, putting in place structures and strategies, so that they can be sustainably housed in the Congregation Care department and the Adult Ministries department.
Everywhere there was joy and restlessness: joy because of the deep love and the miracle of our baby before our eyes; restlessness because of the feel of life shifting… we were now responsible for another life.
Somehow we’ve come to believe that loneliness can be remedied by being connected with others. The truth is, loneliness is remedied not by being connected to the lives of others, but by being invested in the lives of others.
